CHENNAI: Senior advocate PS Raman's claim that he travelled with BCCI president N Srinivasan's son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan from Madurai to Mumbai in his capacity as 'a close family friend' and not as his lawyer has cut no ice within his fraternity and with cricket administrators as he is the vice-president of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA).
